Rafiye Karadca was born in 1962 in the village of Karamanci-Mineralni Baniand and lives in  the village of Murgovo, Kyrdzhali, Bulgaria. She has specialized in painting at private and governmental schools in Turkey. She is a member of: SAKUDER Art & Painter Group Association, RUBAKAT İstanbul Rumeli Balkan Womens Association, Femin’art International Women Artist Association İstanbul, Turkish Balkan  Platform Gebze.

My feeling is that the further away I am from the country I am born in, the closest it is in my heart and the more I think about it... and then I start to paint."
